April, 2001 The journal’s title was changed from Asian Medical Journal to Japan Medical Association Journal (JMAJ), from JMAJ Vol.44, No.4. The full text of the JMAJ became available on the JMA’s website.
January, 1984 From AMJ Vol.27, No.1, the JMA took over publishing rights in addition to editing responsibility.
April, 1960 The Japan Medical Association (JMA) took responsibility for editing the AMJ from AMJ Vol.3, No.4.
October, 1958 The Asian Medical Journal (AMJ) was established by the Japan Medical Publishers, Inc.
